Conical Twin Screw Extruder

The heart of the machine. A powerful, typically single-screw (though twin-screw is used for specific compounds) extruder rotates within a heated barrel. The screw conveys, compresses, melts, and homogenizes the PVC compound under precisely controlled
temperature zones.

Pipe Mould

The molten, homogenized PVC is forced through a specially designed annular die head. This die shapes the melt into a continuous hollow tube (parison) with the desired outer diameter and wall thickness profile.

Stainless Steel Calibration Tank

The hot, soft PVC parison immediately enters a vacuum sizing tank or calibrator. Here, precise water-cooled sleeves or rings, combined with vacuum pressure, rapidly cool the pipe's outer surface and set its exact final dimensions and roundness.

Haul-off Machine

A caterpillar-type puller with synchronized rubber tracks grips the cooled pipe firmly and pulls it continuously at a controlled speed through the entire line, maintaining tension and ensuring consistent wall thickness.

Cutting Machine

A precision cutting system (typically flying saws or guillotine cutters for smaller diameters) automatically cuts the continuous pipe to specified lengths without stopping the extrusion process. Cutting can be triggered by length measurement devices (encoders, lasers).
